Megaworld Foundation nurtures a culture of “bayanihan” among Megaworld employees by creating avenues for them to volunteer.
Feeding Activity
Through partnership with other charitable institutions, Megaworld Foundation and its employee-volunteers cook nutritious meals for undernourished children.
Medical-Dental Mission
Both populous cities and off-grid communities are being reached out and given formal healthcare through pediatric and OB-GYN consultations, dental check-ups, tooth extractions, and haircut services. Employee-volunteers also distribute prescribed medicines and hygiene kits.
Green Thumbs-up! Tree Planting Activity
Another annual activity being looked forward to by the employees to volunteer in is the Foundation’s Tree Planting Activity in La Mesa Watershed. Aside from planting hundreds of saplings every year, the employee-volunteers also help in the protection and preservation of the last forest in the Metropolis.
Brigada Eskwela
Megaworld Foundation joins hands with employee-volunteers as they clean and repaint classrooms making public schools more conducive for learning before the classes start.
Natural Disaster Response
Employee-volunteers actively gather to help repack relief goods and hygiene kits which will be distributed by Megaworld Foundation to families affected by calamities.
Rice Together Community Pantry
In partnership with Local Government Units, the Foundation reached out to 10 barangays near Megaworld projects during the pandemic. The pantries were filled with uncooked rice from the Foundation along with the other donations such as canned goods, noodles, bread, coffee, powdered milk, and other food staples from Megaworld employees.
Christmas Outreach Activity
Through Santa Scholars gift-giving activity, scholars spark hope to deserving families in time for Christmas. Employees also get to celebrate the Yuletide season by cooking sumptuous meals, singing carols, and handing grocery packages to those in need.
