Megaworld Foundation’s 25 years were made more meaningful by the partnerships it has built along the way. To reach out to more Filipinos and need, and strengthen its support to advocacies aligned to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, the Foundation has formed over 300 partnerships nationwide.
MEGA Malasakit: Megaworld Foundation COVID-19 Response
Through partnerships with LGUs, children and elderly homes, and hospitals, the Foundation was able to distribute meals, disinfectants, facemasks, and vitamins. Health workers who serve in the frontline also received bicycles as means of transportation.
Educational Initiatives during the New Normal
The pandemic did not slow down the Foundation’s help to students across the country. With the help of multiple partnerships, e-learning hubs, container van classroom library, and printers for modules were made available to those who need it most.
Livelihood Programs
Women are empowered with “Stitches to Riches” and “Bubbles and Dreams” livelihood projects as they are trained to create and market their craft.
House Building
As the socio-civic arm of a real estate company, Megaworld Foundation knows how significant it is for a family to have their own home. By joining hands with like-minded organizations, the Foundation has provided hundreds of families with sustainable and safe housing.
Classroom Refurbishments
The Foundation has built, reconstructed, and repainted classrooms and day care centers still being used to this day by students in different parts of the country.
One with the Aetas
Megaworld Foundation recognizes that caring for indigenous people is just as important as helping everyone else. With a heart for the Aetas in Capas, Tarlac, the Foundation started "One with the Aetas" to uplift their community and empower their students.
Eskwela ng Bayan: A Mega Classroom on Wheels
By coordinating with LGUs and children’s homes, Megaworld Foundation offers weeks of supplementary learning to elementary students during their summer vacations.
Relief Operations
Megaworld Foundation immediately responds to aid its kababayans affected by natural calamities such as typhoons, earthquakes, and volcano eruptions. With the help of its partner institutions, this assistance is extended even to far-flung communities.
Support to Differently-Abled Persons
Megaworld Foundation uplifts its physically disabled fellowmen by visiting them and bringing wheelchairs, food, and hygiene supplies.
